Profile-based Shortlisting Criteria

Welingkar follows a unique Profile-based selection process which assigns significant value to the academic performance, work experience, group activity, personal interview, and written test scores. Candidates who fulfill the following criteria are shortlisted for Profile-based calls:

·        Phase 1 is Profile Plus Cutoff based.

·        Candidates should apply by January 26, 2022, to be considered for the Profile-based shortlisting.

·        Welingkar will consider the academic profile with Class X, XII, and graduation marks.

·        Welingkar will consider relevant work experience in Profile-based shortlisting.

·        Extra-curricular activities (District, State, National, an International level only) are considered in the Profile-based shortlisting for the GD-PI round.

·        For Phase-1, the GD-PI will be at Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, and Kolkata

Non-Profile based Shortlisting Criteria

Applicants are also shortlisted separately with Non-Profile based Criteria for GD-PI round:

·        If the candidate has applied for Phase-1 Profile-based shortlisting and has not been considered, the candidates’ will be reconsidered for phase 2 of non-profiled based shortlisting.

·        Phase 2 application process begins on February 1, 2022.

·        A candidate will be considered for phase 2 of shortlisting even without extra-curricular activities, work experience.

·        Mere ffulfilmentof minimum eligibility criteria will not ensure consideration for shortlisting for the next stage of admissions process.

·        Phase 2 GD-PI will be at Mumbai and Bangalore only.

Final Admission Selection Round Criteria

·        Post shortlisting for Phase 1, applicants will be called for the GD-PI round at one of the four centers of Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata.
