What do you mean by Management Quota?

Management Quota is a government authorized mechanism provided to private or deemed University by which students can secure Direct Admission in the institute. Management Quota is only applicable in private or deemed Universities because they don’t receive any grants from the government. So, the government allows private Institutes to fill 15% of their seat through management/ NRI Quota Seats.

85% of the seats are filled on a merit basis and the remaining 15% of seats can be filled by the management of that institute. However, there are eligibility criteria for the management Quota Seats as well.

For example, in engineering, one must have at least 50% in Senior secondary school examination to apply for a management Quota Seat. Similarly, for Medical and for others.

For PGDM program

Candidates, who have applied for the program, must have a valid percentile/ score obtained in CAT- 2022/ or XAT 2022/ 2022 or CMAT 2022/ 2022 or GMAT taken after 2022. Shortlisted candidates are further called for the Personal Interview (PI) round.

The final selection is based on entrance exam score, past academic record, work experience, essay, and performance in the PI round. GLIM has two admission cycles, the first begins in November, while the second begins in January.

Candidates who wish to enroll in the courses can apply through both online or offline mode. The college accepts valid CAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ GMAT scores for PGDM and PGPM program, Final selection is based on the entrance exam scores, academic performance, work experience, and personal interview.
