MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bangalore (MSRIT) was started in 1962 by late Dr. M.S. Ramaiah, Founder Chairman who was a noted visionary, giver and a pioneer in making many landmark infrastructures comes in our country.
It is an autonomous private engineering college located in Bangalore, Karnataka and is affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University headquartered at Belgaum, Karnataka, India.

The college infrastructure has been developed over the years to address the changing demands. MSRIT campus has very good library filled with collection of knowledgeable resources and innovative information helpful for the students and teachers.
Faculties are well qualified, knowledgeable and students seem glad with the teaching. Breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and special dinner is provided by the mess comprising of both North and South Indian food items.
Well furnished rooms in the hostel are available for single/double/triple occupancy with attached/common bath rooms with hot water. Internet Centre is available in a safe and secure place.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission in MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology
Students should have passed second year PUC final examination with Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects.
Minimum of 45% marks should be scored. SC/ST students should have obtained at least 40% of marks.
The students should have passed in the entrance exam conducted by Government of Karnataka.
